Dinosaur Hills
The hills are giant dinosaurs
Lain to sleep-
Dirt and time,
Their bed and blanket.
Time passes…
Men build homes on their backs,
Lay pools over their heads,
And walk down their spines.
But what will happen
When the dinosaur awakens,
Yawns, then shivers?

I love this because it reminds me of that poet gal who wrote the light in the attic…I forget the name, but you know who I am talking about! When you publish your stuff, in the book you should give the poem some animation and put the line, “Time passes…” on one page by itself to make a point or to ust be plain dramatic! I think it would be awesome…very zen-like poem.
